Azie's spectacular
design is apparent from the moment you walk through the door.
Described by architect Cass Calder Smith as "modernist interpretation of
the Pacific Rim," Azie's main dining room captures the vibrant energy of
the surrounding SoMa neighborhood.
The
unique "dining pavilion," created by four crimson columns in the room's
center, resembles a Japanese pagoda. A dramatic staircase of
burnished teak and glass lead to the elegant mezzanine dining area.
The main level has dining booths, which can be
curtained off for privacy, as well as an exhibition kitchen with an
eight-seat chef's counter. The room also features a two-storey
"Wall of Mirrors," which combined with the mahogany-topped bar below
creates motion and energy throughout this dynamic space |

An innovation in restaurant dining,
Azie's main dining room features three private booths; complete with
shimmering bronze curtains and their own dimmer switches. These
coveted booths are the perfect spot for an intimate dinner or important
business meeting.

Azie's
impressive mahogany-topped bar is the perfect place to enjoy a specialty
sake cocktail, a glass of wine from the impressive wine list, or a bite
to eat. The bar also includes a lounge area with plush velvet
booths and slick wood tables, an ideal spot for people-watching,
socializing, and dining alike. |

An eight-seat
chef's counter is available for those diners who desire an epicurean
experience of the highest magnitude. These lucky observers watch
in awe as the chefs create Azie's unique and exciting cuisine right
before their very eyes.

Azie's
expansive Exhibition Kitchen adds a bit of theatre and lightens the
formality of the traditional dining experience. The Exhibition
Kitchen enables the chefs to stay more connected to the energy and pace
of the room, while at the same time treating diners to a rare look
inside a bustling professional kitchen.

An L-shaped
mezzanine highlights the unique bi-level design of Azie. The
mezzanine includes several intimate tables that provide an opportunity
for relaxation and refuge from the bustle below. For those couples
looking to enjoy a romantic dinner, high-backed booths of rich, deep
mahogany provides a private oasis. If an urban night out is what
you desire, a large booth flanked by glass on three sides jutting out
over Folsom is just the ticket. The mezzanine also features its
own bar, making it the perfect space for a large private celebration.
